SOMETHING'S FOR THE WEEKEND + Sticky Paws and Hairballs vs. Kitty Kisses and Fuzzy Hugs...

                                            Resting up for the big game...go Seahawks!

A big sticky paw to birds, this is why I have issues with birds! OK, I get it, the circle of life blah, blah, blah, but come on...really?

A big fuzzy hug as we bid a fond farewell to Pete Seeger;

Two sticky paws to the Utah school that humiliated 40 kids when they took away their lunches and threw them in the garbage;

A very large hairball to Rand Paul; Pop the champagne ladies, according to Rand Paul, we won!!!!

A kitty kiss to funny stuff; Watch Mitt Romney ( you know, that guy who ran for president...) with Jimmy Fallon:

We think this is a number every cat owner should have on hand;

THE ASPCA ANIMAL POISON CONTROL HOTLINE;  1-888-426-4435 the center operates 24 hours a day and is staffed by veterinarians knowledgeable in the field of toxicology.( note; a minor charge will be assessed on your credit card for this service )

And lastly, did you know;

A cat can not see directly under it's nose.

Cats are not color blind, but their ability to see color is not as good as humans. They tend to see the world in shades of blue and green.

Have a great weekend!

Something's For The Weekend + Sticky Paws and Hairballs vs. Kitty Kisses and Fuzzy Hugs...

A big fuzzy hug to Roy Strobel for creating The Ultimate Cat's Catalog. In it find innovative as well as totally non-existent items such as; Whisker extensions for a more glamorous look; genuine Egyptian sand for the litter box, check it out at;

A big kitty kiss to bag mice those small creatures that dwell inside all paper bags. They are small and the same color as the bag, so they are hard to see. They create hours of fun for kitty until said kitty shreds the bag to bits or the human, unable to tolerate any further commotion, takes said bag away.

A hairball and a sticky paw to Mike Huckabee and all the other male politicians who allege that they know more than women themselves do regarding women's bodies and health and women in general!
Heads up men! We are not gals, we can control our libidos (probably better than men) and if you want to interfere in our contraception issues then it's only fair that we  start to regulate your  Cealis and Viagra not to mention what you do with your sperm! It takes both sexes or didn't you read the book?

A couple of huge sticky paws to income inequality. Did you know that the top 85 wealthiest people have as much as the bottom 3.5 billion? That's billion with a B! Now those are some scary statistics!
Check it out;,0,3481555.story#axzz2rM0Dp1e7

So I guess you can sell anything these days!  A great big sticky paw to Tikker the count down to your death watch;
I can't make this stuff up folks... check it out at;

If you feel the need to buy this thing, do this instead; get an envelope, put the money in it, send it to me! I would be glad to call you and inform you of your finale moments.... I'm probably just as accurate too!

Have a great weekend!

The sun is out! Sunspots!!!!!
Oh, that feels nice. I simply adore sunspots. Of course I shed but hey that's not my problem. The humans have that noisy sucky machine that gobbles up all my shedded  fur anyway...
Besides, it's my job to just lay here and be adorable!

I do feel for all those people and pets dealing with inches upon inches of snow though... brrrrrrrrr

So here are a few things you should know;

You can enter your cat in the bad cat contest for a chance to be included in the 2015 Bad Kitty calender at:

Deadline; February 13th 2014!

And now we want to introduce you to two people who are making a difference:

First up; 11 year old Moziah Bridges who started his own company and began sending other kids who could not afford it to summer camp. Check out his bow ties at;
 and read his story at:

Next up; Naquasia Le Grand an hourly worker at KFC who began organizing workers in order to get a fair and livable wage and the right to join a union. What started with a few, grew to thousands..........

Think of what a world this would be if each and every one of us did just one thing to make the world a better place... that's a world I'd love to see!

Have a great week...

Something's For The Weekend and AWARDS!!!!!

If I look like the proverbial cat that swallowed the canary well maybe not the canary but I did eat some of that green paper with the pictures of some old guys on it. I don't see what the big deal is but the humans where a tiny bit flustered... OK they were down right ticked off. In my defense, it was just laying there on the table so I thought I'd take a look...well one thing lead to another and I guess you could say I have this "thing" about paper. I have been known to chew it to bits like a puppy... so long story short I got in a little trouble... me! Adorable, cute, sweet little ole me! can you believe it? And now for the news...

 A 71 yr. old man was so upset by someone in back of him in a movie theater texting that he shot and killed him...

Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Falon re write the words to,  Born To Run to address NJ Governor Chris Christie's Bridgegate ordeal...

The Federal Government is pursuing action against Walmart for breaking labor laws;

More school shootings! Two within the past week!
People we need to Do something about this!

And; While we were sleeping... we got awards!
During our sickie time unbeknownst to us we were racking up some really cool awards from some really great friends...

On 12/31/13  Robin, Cinco and Manna at;  nominated us for the Sunshine Award

Then we got a whole bushel of awards from  Beverly over at;

And from Mauricio, Lilly Olivia, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lizbeth and Callie Jo at; we were awarded the Because You're Fantabulous award...

fantablulous award

Whew! As much as we LOVE awards, that was a lot of work!

And now for our nominee's; we are taking a que from Beverly at Moggiepurrs and bundling
some of them together...

First we are nominating the following blogs for what we now like to call the "Beverly's Bundle" of the first seven awards to;

Those trout talking tabbies at;
Sparkle at; those chilly kitties at; and

Next we would like to nominate for the Because You Are Fantabulous award.

And lastly, to , we give the Sunshine Award...

That's about all the awarding we can do right now without falling over from exhaustion as we are still in recuperation mode...

Have a great weekend!

That's right...we're back baby!

Thank you all sooooo much for all the kind words and really made the ickiest of the sickies a little less icky.
I must admit there was a point when I just thought we were going to be sick forever but that's when I noticed my tail was just being annoying and I knew we were on our way to better days. You know your getting better when small things start to bug you again.

And to celebrate our return, we want to start off with......wait for it...

A great big sticky paw to Governor Chris Christie for one of the most self indulgent narcissistic press conference's I've seen in recent memory. If that is his idea of an apology...I'm not sure he understands the definition of " apology. After going on and on for almost two hours Thursday morning, mostly about how this all affected him and how he was so hurt, just made him seem less credible. And when he talked about the tone of the e-mails... well It seems to me that was the same tone he himself used earlier to ridicule reporters asking about the lane closures in the first place and the same tone he used to admonish the city's board members who were doing their job in looking into the matter  (Something which he should have been doing.)
And yes Mr. Christie, you are a bully. There is plenty of evidence to support it.

A big fuzzy hug to Lyndon B. Johnson for at least trying to do something good by declaring a War On Poverty fifty years ago. Unfortunately, Other politicians who came to power in the following years would not follow his lead.

A big fuzzy hug to PARTICIPANT MEDIA. We think this is a great idea and one worth checking out!

A big kitty kiss to Kleenex! Wow did we go through a lot of it. Too bad we didn't have stock in the company...

And last but not least; this morning our power went out due to really high winds. We want to give a kitty kiss to Seattle City Light for getting it up and running again in only three hours! (Fingers crossed it stays fixed)

And one more thing; OH MY GOSH!  While we were being sick we amassed a whole bunch of awards!!!!
We will be dedicating our next post to what we were awarded and by whom and who they are going to next... stay tuned.

Thanks for hanging in there with us during our down time... we love you guys!

We've Been Off Line For a Few Days Because...

The Noodle and crew house has been visited upon by a plague...OK, not the plague, the flu. But I tell you sometimes in the past few days it seemed just as bad. I watched helplessly as my humans descended into feverish puddles of goo!

Then this morning there was movement and a glimmer of life...
We hope you will excuse us for not posting comments and responding to comments during this time, but I mean come on we're talking plague here! We are going to be doing our best to catch up so please bear with us...

I do want to give a shout out to all of our readers who continue to stop by and read what we have to say even though they have very different views on many of the issues we write about. I LOVE these people! I my self am a firm believer that politics is about debate and that just because individuals have opposing view points doesn't mean they can't have a civilized conversation... Everyone's point of view is important and we all need to be willing to listen to each other and respect each others opinions... So thanks to all those people who don't agree with me sometimes. Thanks for coming back anyway. Anytime any of you would like to do a guest post...just let me know!

Oh, oh.. here comes another round of coughing and sneezing, gotta run...
