It will be here any minute, I have been waiting patiently but now it's almost here!

April 1st is my birthday! I bet there will be cake and balloon's and mice and shiny things that move...

 Here are a few of our favorite quotes;

"Time's fun when you're having flies." - Kermit the frog -

"What if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about?" - Unknown -

"When in charge, ponder. When in trouble, delegate. When in doubt, mumble." - Unknown -

And now for something's we think you should know;

Someone finally figured out how to respond to bullying! And it's political! The hot to watch series
House Of Cards took it upon themselves to threaten the state of Maryland where the show has been filmed for the past two seasons. They decided that they wanted bigger tax breaks for filming there and if they didn't get them, well perhaps they just might have to take their show and it's money elsewhere... enter state delegate William Frick! Frick decided that he would do something similar to what he thought the main character might be inclined to do.. A case of life imitating art!: http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/md-politics/maryland-delegates-threaten-to-seize-house-of-cards-property-if-filming-leaves-the-state/2014/03/27/0715a0ca-b605-11e3-8cb6-284052554d74_story.html?tid=up_next

I don't know how many of you are following the Hobby Lobby case that is in front of the Supreme Court right now... Here's the thing, no matter what you're faith or political position the Supreme Court's job is to make decisions based on and grounded in the actual law. If the court were to find for Hobby Lobby, they are essentially saying that the 28.000 employees do not have the same rights as the corporation does. That flies directly in the face of our constitution. As Spock would say; "the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few"; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/25/supreme-court-hobby-lobby_n_5027527.html

If you want an idea of who is running for president in 2016 on the GOP ticket, check this out; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/29/chris-christie-scott-walker-las-vegas_n_5056116.html

Well it's official, the house doesn't seem to have any thing to do besides voting for the elimination of the Affordable Care Act! With Immigration, jobs bills and unemployment extensions, infrastructure and a host of other pending issues that are going no where, the house is resigned to Not vote on anything of importance... job well done guy's!   http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/27/unemployment-extension-_n_5043679.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Cmain5%7Cdl26%7Csec3_lnk4%26pLid%3D459092

And last but certainly not least; check out Jimmy Fallon and Kevin Bacon re; Footloose! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T2FpCDlyNg

Have a great Sunday!

A great big sticky paw and a... "shame, shame, shame" on all of the senator's who agreed to filibuster the extension of the veteran's bill!
