MONDAY MORNING MEWSINGS...

It's Monday and as you can probably tell it was hard to get out of bed this morning. Never the less I will do my very best to amuse and inform you.

Did you know that in Cresskill, New Jersey cats must wear three bells on their collar to warn birds of their whereabouts?

In Natchez, Mississippi cats can not drink beer
.
And, in Zion, Illinois it is illegal for anyone to give lighted cigars to cats, dogs or other domestic pets.
Now you know...

Thoughts on Congress's behavior:

Will someone please send these children to the principals office! If they can't behave then they need to be suspended and sent home!
Real working people don't have time for their shenanigan's!

A great web site to visit: www.cfainc.org for all things cat.

AND BIRDS...

What can I say. Cats love birds! We love to watch them, stalk them and dream of catching them...
and so for my Paris part of the post I give you " the bird man of Notre Dame " this lovely man feeds the pigeons at Notre Dame church in Paris. He does it with spare change given to him by tourists.

Here is the part a cat sees...

Have a great week!

  2. We're OK with a law not to give lighted cigarettes to cats. The last thing we need is cats addicted to nicotine racing around.

  3. The state info is very funny. Think of the waste of time for lawmakers to think of, write about, and vote on there things. No wonder why government doesn't get any of the more important things done.

In terms of Congress: they should all be fired. We could not do any worse with an entire freshmen class. I'm not sure going to Principal Obama would help.

Although I must say about the beer, in "Anatomy of a Murder", the dog would always drink beer.

  4. Too many bells! No beer! No smoking! How are kitties supposed to enjoy life?! We want to know if the originators of those law follow the same rules!

The CFA site is great, so much to see, enjoy and learn, thanks for the link.

  6. Even cats behave better than the members of Congress. Maybe a couple of catnaps would clear their heads! Or maybe we could just replace each and everyone of them with a cat. Purrs and hugs, lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
