Trying to catch up...

We must have had seven different posts we were working on over the past few days.

Each one taking the place of the last one written in an attempt to keep up with everything that's going on.

We've been playing this catch up game for over a year now and I must say....it's exhausting!

This week it's all about The Memo.

Last week it was porn stars and affairs.

The week before that it was all about the presidents remarks about Haiti and Africa.

And the week before it was the government shut down and not that the government was shut down but more importantly who's fault it was.

There was the release of the book; Fire and Fury.

( I'm not even going to mention the Russia stuff, that would take way too much time)

Not that these things are unimportant or are not note worthy but the human mind can only retain so much!

There is impending war with North Korea or maybe even Iran.

There's DACA.

And still much of Puerto Rico sits without power and clean water.

The opioid epidemic continues to grow.

Our infrastructure keeps failing.

Homeless numbers climb.

Veterans are still committing suicide.

Bottom line is; there is no catching up.

We are in a continuous spin cycle that has no off button.

We are doomed to keep chasing our tails until we have an epiphany and realize that it's all just to some degree, noise.

Congress has thrown their respect and morals out the window and replaced  them with greed and power.

So, will Trump fire Rosenstein or Mueller or both?

Will the stock market fall below the 635 points it fell today?

Nothing is going to save us.

WE are the off button.

Only we can say ENOUGH and change the channel.

Maybe then we can all get to work and actually DO something...

Everybody happy?

Is this America being great again?

Have a wonderful weekend...

Noodle and crew

  3. It is DEFINITELY NOT AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. America will be great again when the middle of the US realizes that to elect a buffoon narcissist who cares not a damn for their jobs, their incomes, their futures, is one of the biggest mistakes in history. But they are not reading your blog, Noodle. And they are not reading the FACTS in the New York Times, whose sudden change in journalism is down to earth, factual and objective as it was not in the early days of Dumbo.
Facts are no longer relevant to most of our voters. They follow like lemmings (or penquins) who push one off to see if it is eaten before diving. Unfortunately, all are diving without pushing,

  9. We re late catching up on the selfies but, as usual, an eloquent post of yours distracts us so we comment here.

Thank you for being such a window on struggle. It is frightening for us all even outside the USA. I used to think the President of the USA mattered but now.. I am worried.

Hang in there and have a good week (yeah we are SO LATE!!!)

  12. ... and all this is why Mom would rather hunt up info on Millicent the First Order cat. It makes so much more sense than what is happening on our own planet these days.

  13. Great words and words I hope the peoples of the US will heed, as well as those across the globe. What makes America weaker and divides a democracy also makes it's adversaries stronger and more daring too. I fear for the world.....

  17. Spin cycle is right...in more ways than one. And we are certain the list will continue to grow and evolve over the next three years. If they haven't got him on obstruction charges yet, it will probably never happen. Noodle, have a good nap and turn off the news. You'll sleep better if you do. Thanks for joining us on the hop. 18. The Trump
    Is a dump
    Of lies
    Decptions
    And distractions.

    If he said the sun
    Rose in the East
    I would check.

    No one who tells
    So many lies
    Can be trusted
    To be correct
    About anything.

    Not even the sun.
