It's time...

Will someone please tell me who decided we should set our clocks backward and forward twice a year?

Daylight Savings Time  may have started with the best of intentions but now it's just an inconvenient and useless thing we do for no reason.

Then again it makes about as much sense as everything else that's going on...

Have a wonderful Sunday!

  6. I'm with you on that one, Noodle. We had it for the war years and thereafter it has just been a pain. Humans will just have to get used to being more like cats then maybe we would get our food served on time and in accordance with nature.
    Happy week to you all.

  7. with you 100% it is so confusing. Ours change in NZ, then the UK changes, THEN my buddies in the USA are an hour different.

    * sigh *

    Have a good week Noodle.

  8. My understabding is that DST originated to assist farmer children help in the fields after school. Or was it that in WWI it was to darken the cities against possible attack? Or to let schoolkids get to school in daylight?

    Whatever...

    I wish we would just stay on DST. I can't stand it getting dark at 5pm. And with the November afternoons always cloudy, 3 pm feels like 7 pm a month ago. My sleep cycle is ALL messed up!

  9. PS, I have 16 clocks in the house. Not all wall clocks, but the M/W has one, the oven has one, the telephone has one, the car has one. The changing is maddening!
