Just a thought...



The republicans keep saying things like; "this president was elected by the will of the American people".

Or, "this election was decided due to the will of the American people".

Or, "the democrats want to discount the will of the American people who elected this president".

It's worth noting that Donald Trump did NOT win the election due to the votes of the American people.

He actually lost by 3 million votes.

Not to mention the 10 million more votes that were won by the democrats in 2018.

So, actually NOT elected by the American people.

I guess it doesn't have quite the same impact though to say, "this president was elected by the Electoral College".

  2. Chris Hayes said it succinctly on MSNBC a few nights ago: How about we count the presidential election like WE DO ALL THE OTHERS. The most votes wins!
