Hair balls and sticky paws vs. kitty kisses and fuzzy hugs...
Today is the International Day of Peace.
Fuzzy hugs to John Lennon for : "Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one..."
In the spirit of the day I'd like to say I am keeping my paws crossed that Syria will follow through with it's commitment to destroy it's chemical weapons. And giving a tentative fuzzy hug to Iran's president for leaving the impression that they will not pursue the making of nuclear weapons.
Kitty kisses to www.allpetsconsidered.com for getting back to us about my favorite furry mousies! They are called Boca Rats and you can order them through the above web site.
Two sticky paws to this whole budget/shutting down the government /debt ceiling debacle! Come on congress get it together or let the cat's take charge. VOTE: CAT'S FOR CONGRESS! It's already gone to the dogs.
A sticky paw and a flip of my tail to Steven Colbert and the Colbert Report.
As much as I love the show, he just may have inadvertently given the "Colbert bump"
to a blatantly racist company that sells inappropriately named and marketed ammunition.
They will probably get more attention now. ( I had a hard time deciding whether I should add to the attention, that is why I am not mentioning names ).
But then a fuzzy hug to Steven Colbert for having the New York subway kittens and the person who adopted them on his show.
A fuzzy hug and kitty kisses to two daughters of former presidents who have grown up to become model global citizens! Cheers to Chelsea Clinton and Caroline Kennedy!
A big kitty kiss if you still write letters by hand. Come on use those opposable thumbs!
Hand written letters are becoming a thing of the past, today most of us use email and text or tweet our way through the day.
I say cursive rules! So write someone a letter. Lick an envelope, stick a stamp and give a boost to the post office.
Think of all the famous letters throughout history.
Who will you write a letter to?
Have a great weekend!
Hi Noodle! Happy Peace Day!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant post. Mommy actually wrote by hand 15 thank you notes for the rescue she works with. She agrees with you wholeheartedly. Cursive rules. And yeah to the shout out for Chelsea and Caroline. Mom's liking your blog more and more each time she reads it. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteI'm another one who loves to write. There's just something about a pen and paper that doesn't come forth with a keyboard. And writing is pretty, if you do it right! I admire a nice handwriting. Is penmanship even taught in school any more?
ReplyDeleteNoodle, hope you will join us on November 4 as the blogosphere Blogs for Peace. I have a link on my sidebar.
