Noodle's last post...

So... things happen and lives changes.

My cousin Jack once told me that life was full of surprises and disappointments.

Unfortunately, sometimes life gets a little too messy and difficult.

That's when we have to make hard decisions.

We do not make this decision lightly, believe me...

We want you to know that we feel very fortunate to have been a small part of your lives all these years.

We have really enjoyed doing this little bloggie and hope that we have informed and entertained you.

We will miss you all very much and wish you much joy and happiness in your lives in the years to come..

You can always write us at;.www.herecomesnoodle@gmail.com

Please pray for us.

Love and many, many kitty kisses...

Sunday selfies with commentary...

When I hear people argue that they won't be "forced" to be vaccinated and their argument is based on "their freedom" and nothing to do with medicine or science or health, I would ask those people to remember this...

Honey vs. vinegar...

There is an old saying about catching more fly's with honey than vinegar..

We need to dig it out and dust it off now.

Because we need to convince people to get vaccinated.

Not just for themselves but for the world!

Culture wars, right and left, red states, blue states and all the dividers we have thrown up...are killing us! And that's just in this country.

Luckily, gradually people who were not inclined to get vaccinated are realizing maybe they should give it a second think.

They see friends and neighbors who are sick or have died and it gets real.

But we can't go around intimidating those who think the vaccine is an intrusion into their freedom ,or are sure that the vaccine isn't really necessary. calling them stupid or ignorant.

We are trying to save lives so...we need to get out the honey.

Or we are going to find ourselves right back where we were a year ago...or worse.

Have a great Sunday!

The impossible...

"Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." - The Red Queen

If there's one thing that endears Alice in Wonderland to generations of readers it is it's charm.

Some may call Alice naive for believing "impossible things," but those aren't the type of people who would chase a rabbit down its hole either...

Sometimes we have to believe in the impossible... look around you, what is the alternative?

Something to think about...

                                        ( baby Noodle archives )

I find it absolutely astonishing how quickly we forget.

Do we really not remember just how bad it was while Donald Trump was here?

It was terrifying!

Which is why I'm constantly amazed at all the criticism being tossed at Joe Biden almost daily from both democrats and republicans alike.

This is just a sample of what Joe Biden has done since taking office.

So can we please tone down the negative rhetoric and stop ripping into Joe like a monkey on a cupcake?

Let's not forget where we were a mere 6 months ago...

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Celebrating freedom?

It's the Forth of July, and we celebrate our independence, our freedom and all those amendments in the Constitution.
One of the most arguably contentious; the 2nd amendment and the right to bear arms.
Have a read, have a look and have a think...

Excerpt from Buzz feed news article;

Earlier this month, David Keene, a former president of the National Rifle Association, stood on an outdoor stage in Las Vegas as he addressed thousands of empty white chairs. Keene was rehearsing his speech to the James Madison Academy’s 2021 graduating class.

“Let me begin by telling you what an honor it is to be here to help celebrate your graduation,” said Keene, 76. “There are some who will continue to fight to gut the Second Amendment, but I’d be willing to bet that many of you will be among those who stand up and prevent them from succeeding.”

But the 3,044 white chairs he faced were never meant to be filled. The private online high school? It never existed.

It was all a carefully organized stunt designed to prove a point, Manuel and Patricia Oliver — whose son Joaquin Oliver, 17, was killed in a mass shooting at his high school in Parkland, Fla., in 2018 — said in a video released Wednesday, with each chair symbolizing a student killed by gun violence. The edited videos from the Olivers’ group, Change the Ref, show Keene and John Lott, a gun-rights activist and author, as they address the empty seats, mixed with audio of 911 calls made during mass shootings at schools.

“We are here representing every single kid that is not able to finish high school,” Manuel Oliver said in one video. “Three thousand kids that are not using those chairs because they are not here and they won’t be here.”

A few words on Wednesday...

We love Joan Baez!

So we were thrilled to see her being honored at the Kennedy Center Awards..

We also thought it was ironic that Senator Joe Manchin can't find it in his heart to vote for the proposed
 voting rights bill

But if you watch closely he's right there in the audience singing along to " We shall

(please excuse our wonky line breaks)

*Joan Baez preforms We shall overcome by herself.

Have a great Wednesday!
