Something to think about...

                                        ( baby Noodle archives )

I find it absolutely astonishing how quickly we forget.

Do we really not remember just how bad it was while Donald Trump was here?

It was terrifying!

Which is why I'm constantly amazed at all the criticism being tossed at Joe Biden almost daily from both democrats and republicans alike.

This is just a sample of what Joe Biden has done since taking office.

So can we please tone down the negative rhetoric and stop ripping into Joe like a monkey on a cupcake?

Let's not forget where we were a mere 6 months ago...

Have a wonderful Sunday!

One wonders if this a Trump-effect at work. Folk have got so brainwashed into complaining and pointing fingers that they know not what else to do - even when things are better! Keep chuntering, Noodle puss, it's impawtant! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. You said it Noodle. People are a bunch of entitled whiners and need to shut the f**k up right now. Mr Biden is working wonders and miracles and thanks to him so many people are not homeless or hungry.

Social media has created a monster 'public' who feel entitled to shout and scream and stamp their stupid feet. If you don't want to help your fellow man you do not deserve to live in any civilised country.

  4. Yes, how quickly they forget. But the intelligence and courtesy and thoughtfulness of the USA appears to have taken a back seat to education about all of them.

  5. Looks as if even baby-Noodle knew to get rid of the "orange thing", smart cat ... btw: some peeps just didn't get over being dumb.

  6. I do not forget. Trump (and possibly even worse "the trumpies" just won't fade away. For someone despised by almost 2/3s of the adult population, he sure has a rabid base of followers. I see it in every TV interview with people who won't get the Covid vaccination, the people who think the election was "stolen", the people who are convinced the Jan 6th insurrection was made up of "loving tourists escorted into the Capitol Building by the police", and the real crazies who think Trump will be "reinstalled" as President "soon".

There HAS to be something in the environment of Trump supporters that is just causing utter stupidity. I don't know what it is. Lead in cheap beer, NASCAR fumes, football and basketball hormone elevation, the smell of assault weapon gunpowder, etc. But it has to be something.

Maybe it is the internet. If you are a "crazy", you probably don't find much support in your neighborhood or family. But on the internet there are thousands "just like you" and you feel supported and validated. The internet can really be a social challenge.

When a crazy finds a few thousand people who think like them, that seems like a LOT. They don't realize it is such a miniscule % of the population.

President Biden faces difficult challenges. He seeks bipartisanship in a partisan era. In Mitch McConnell, he faces possibly the most obstructionist Senate Leader ever. Sen Manchin goes up and down like that toy bird that dips into a waterbowl.

He is pressed by left and moderate wings of the Democratic party.

But I am going on too long...
