Maybe he got hit on the head and forgot what a democrat is...

He comes from a family of Democrats. But if he changed parties, McConnell would instantly become Leader of the Senate. Talk about POWER.
ReplyDeleteAll the other Demotratic Senators have the same power, but are too responsible to use it.
Manchin is trying to survive as a Democrat in a State that went for Trump 68%. I don't envy his position.
But no Senator ever retires without a good job waiting. If I were him, I would vote concious and beneficial to both the general public AND his own constituents. Former Senators never lack a good job.

ReplyDeleteNo one in West Virginia needs child care or child tax credits...they all live on houseboat/yachts and are banktolled by the coal industry. right ? So he's just representing his people !
