Thank you!

We came across this article written by an essential worker .

We think it's something everybody should read and then take the time to go out of your way and maybe even your comfort zone to take a moment and say " thank you " to a health care worker, grocery store worker, the folks at your pharmacy, delivery drivers, bus drivers, the person who has been delivering your mail through all of this.

How about the people who have been faithfully picking up our trash?

There are a lot of people out there who have made it easier for most of us to get through this in the last year.
People who we count on and tend to take for granted a lot of the time.
People who haven't had time off.

So...THANK YOU!!!!

We couldn't have done it without you.

Have a wonderful Wednesday...

Absolutely - here in the UK there have been quite a lot of public displays of thanks (not least the once a week 'clapathon')... but I think thank you ought to be as second nature as good morning or nice day... though a lot of folk have trouble uttering those, too! 3. Great post! There are a lot of heroes out there that don't get any credit. XO

  4. I don't want to take anything from the medical heroes of the past 422 days for us, but you are correct there are many other forgotten heroes we need to acknowledge.

  5. You're welcome!
Hubby and sons are engineers...and their projects must go on...with or without all the imposed restrictions...and I work in a nursing home...after 15 months we now can have visitors again. Amazing how that changes the demeanor of even those with dementia.

And what about those faithful ones who work in the pet shops where we get our noms and supplies from, if we don't have them delivered?!

And those who keep all those shelters going so that anipals in there may have all they need, too.

  6. We are especially thankful for the Waste Management team ... with all the kids at home, they have decorated their trucks with big cartoon characters ... if children
are out/about, they are friendly & waving, chatting, shouting greetings. And of
course, always "on the job", whatever the weather. Best of the best ... but paws up to all the others you mention as well, we do our best to smile, wave, nod and
say thanks to all and think we should continue to do so ...

  8. My peeps always do and they tell store employees to stay safe. We used to love the 7 pm salutes and are sad they ended. Kudos to the front-line workers.

  9. Awesome post, Noodle. I'm willing to bet there are more workers who'd be considered "essential" than most people even realize. Nice reminder for all of us!
