mirror, mirror....

Politically there is one party that believes that they are the party of the righteous

They constantly accuse others of being unpatriotic un-Christian un-American

Etc. etc.

It's called mirroring

They reflect back to others exactly what they are doing

Unfortunately, people do the same thing every day

They blame all their problems on others while they behave like those they profess to blame

They end up with nothing and no one

And they just can't understand why

Such a waste of time and life

If you take no responsibility

You are in denial

A sad state of affairs.

  1. It is sad but that's not a fun party to go to or be around.

  2. So true. The only way to move forward is to accept one's own shortcomings and work to improve one's lot, and then maybe, possibly, they can start to help others.

  3. Oh, dear, Noodle - with the choice of candidates you have, purrhaps YOU should consider running for Purrsident. We think cats would make a much better job ruling the world than Humans!

  4. Very sweet photo of you Noodle. Politics boggles my mind so I try not to pay attention as ignorance is bliss. XO

  6. The Frogs Who Wanted a King

Once upon a time, the frogs in a pond felt they needed a strong leader to rule over them. "Great Zeus," they prayed, "send us a leader!"

Zeus looked down from the Court of Olympus and replied, "You see that log there? That is your king!"

The frogs complained, "But King Log is boring! He does nothing but lie there. We want an energetic, active king!"

Zeus shrugged and said, "Fine. Here is a stork. You are now ruled by King Stork."

King Stork looked at the pond full of tasty frogs and smiled. First, he ate the brown frogs, then the gay frogs, and soon, he was devouring frogs left and right - all across the spectrum.

He said, "When you're King, they let you do it."

The remaining frogs cried out, "Save us!" but it was too late. As they were being eaten, they realized their mistake and lamented, "We should have appreciated King Log. He might have been boring, but at least he did not harm us."

  7. Noodle, I am with the JCats. You should run for Congress or being President. They are using psychology in such a bad way and we cannot bury our heads in the sand.
