Some Things For The Week End and Hair Balls And Sticky Paws vs. Fuzzy Hugs And Kitty Kisses...
So they had to shut down the government because Obama Care is bad for the country and would cost thousands of jobs and increase the deficit. But when they shut down the government, thousands of people got furloughed or lost their jobs and it cost 24 BILLION dollars and people aren't buying things because of the uncertainty and all that tanks the economy and that's OK? So I'm giving a big sticky paw right up side the head to... yes I'm naming names this time, Ted Cruz (there I said it!) and his band of malicious minions.
A correction and a sticky paw to...me Noodle...
In my last post I said the name of the sculpture in Paris was The Last Kiss, wrong! In looking through my notes for today I realized that It is actually named The Separation Of A Couple and was sculpted by de Max. Sorry.
A big fuzzy hug to all the wonderful people who have adopted pets during Adopt A Pet Month. And of course those who adopt any other time as well. ( if you haven't picked out your pet yet, what are you waiting for? So many wonderful pets need good homes...
A warm fuzzy hug to Le Café des Chats in Paris. It is not just a café it is also home to twelve cats who roam about as customers go about their business. Visit their website at: www.lecafedeschats.fr
If in Paris, visit them in person at 16 rue Michel le Comte in the 3rd arrondissement.
And also in Paris...
In 2005 they closed La Samaritaine department store. This incredible art deco building had one of the best views of Paris from its roof top restaurant as well as being an amazing artistic structure in itself. It looks as though it is being refurbished and will be opening once again but as what I am not quite sure. This is one of the stairways from within...
Have a great week end!
You are on the ball Noodle. We can get along well. It took my post on the Government insanity for them to pass something to end it for now. Have you seen the post on Huffington Press that MoveOn.org wants to want all those guys arrested. If you need it, let me know. If you're on FB, we should be furrends.ReplyDelete
I'm working on getting on FB, but so far I'm all paws!Delete
You got it going Noodle! Thanks for stopping by with purrs, I sure appreciate them!ReplyDelete
I will keep purring!Delete
Hi Noodle! We saw your blog on Cathy Keisha's Facebook feed and wanted to come over to say hi : )ReplyDelete
We like your thinking!
; ) Katie & Glogirly
Thank you so much for stopping by. Please come back soon!Delete
Thanks for the great tips about Paris. We are heading there in 16 days. I haven't been since 1965 and my husband hasn't been since '64. The cafe will be at the top of my list to visit.ReplyDelete
Noodle, we love that photo. Your surprised look is so cute. If you haven't visited Katie and Glogirly, you must. The is pretty much the expression that Katie's nemesis, Waffles, wears all the time.
I am more and more embarrassed each day to be an American. Our elected politicians are numbskulls. I cleaned that up not wanting to offend any of your readers.
Have a great weekend, Janet
Have fun in Paris! If you would like any info or tips just email. My human has been many, many, many, times.Delete
We agree, Noodles, our government doesn't make much sense sometimes.ReplyDelete
That's a cool picture of that staircase.
It's the kind of staircase kitties could run up and down all day!Delete
Hi Noodle you are a very smart kitty. Things just don't make sense anymore.ReplyDelete
They sure don't. Even kitties have more sense!Delete
I join you. Except, there are a lot more people to a "paw on the head".ReplyDelete
I don't think I have enough paws to go around! Too many heads to thwack.Delete
