So... just what the heck is Boxing Day?
We wanted to say Happy Boxing Day to our friends out there in England and the other countries that celebrate it but we got to wondering just what Boxing Day is...So we went on the interwebbie and here's what we found...
Now you have the answer...that is something we here at It's Noodle try to do, give you answers to all kinds of questions, be they important, weird or obscure.
We look forward to yet another year of bringing you the senseless and sensational as well as the poignant and important stories that are in the news and sometimes not in the news but should be.
Have a safe and happy weekend and Happy New Year!!!!!

In Canada. Boxing Day means shopping deals akin to your Black Friday. (We do both now, but traditionally it was just Boxing Day sales.) People line up in the wee hours of the morning, though generally there isn't the stampede-that-kills-people. Our human was tempted, because one of our canned foods is on sale half-price, but she just couldn't muster the motivation to brave the crowds.ReplyDelete
But happy Boxing Day anyway! :-)
I did spend time in several boxes today! Happy New Year Noodle!ReplyDelete
