Plausible Deniability...

Descending into chaos...

Donald Trump  loves the Bible.
He has told thousands of people.
Maybe he just hasn't read the part that says  violence begets violence...

Within the past week the violence has gotten worse; https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/03/10/trump-protester-sucker-punched-at-north-carolina-rally-videos-show/

http://www.salon.com/2016/03/09/trumps_campaign_manager_accused_of_manhandling_female_breitbart_reporter/

As Mr. Trump denies any responsibility for the escalating violent tone of his rallies,
the proof has been recorded time and time again for anyone who chooses to see the truth;
http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/escalating-aggression-marks-trump-s-rhetoric-642743363967

And then last night in Chicago... http://www.npr.org/2016/03/11/470154065/donald-trump-rally-in-chicago-canceled-amid-widespread-protests

And thus the plausible deniability begins.
http://www.mediaite.com/online/chris-matthews-challenges-trump-over-rally-cancellation-you-could-have-predicted-this/

The Trump camp and it's supporters stand firm in their use of violence citing the protesters as the
problem. "they yelled, , they interrupted, they're rude" I 'd like to point out that, that  is protesting and it has been an accepted part of our politics through out history.

Trump supporters say of protesters, "they are infringing on our freedom" but there's that pesky little first amendment and unfortunately it applies to everybody.
There is no subjective freedom of speech rule.
Freedom of speech is freedom of speech, period!

Whether you are a pro life advocate who under the first amendment has the right to hold signs and yell and disrupt women entering medical clinics in Texas or a black lives matter supporter who disrupts a Trump rally in Chicago. The first amendment applies to EVERYONE.

Mr. Trump told reporters how sad it is that you can't hold rallies in big cities anymore because of these protesters who are bad people who are destroying this country.
Isn't it interesting that Bernie Sanders has larger crowds than Trump but there is no violence at his rallies? There hasn't been reports of violence at any other candidates rallies, so.....

If Mr. Trump can not take control of his own rallies how is he going to lead the country?
How is he going to deal with other world leaders?

These images are playing out on televisions and the internet all over the world.
Everyone is watching what we as a country do next.

Something to think about...

Have a great weekend!

Treasure each moment...

                                                      Brandon  4/29/1970 - 3/8/1974

Cherish those who love you and who you love.
Never take their presence for granted.
Tell them they are loved everyday.
Never put it off until tomorrow...
tomorrow may be too late.

Have a wonderful Tuesday...

Parallels, con man or cult leader?

It's perplexing that people who find Donald Trump to be abhorrent don't seem concerned about the people who blindly follow him no matter what path he takes.

It reminds me of something I've seen before.

In the 1970's the nation watched in horror as images of Jim Jones, Jonestown were splashed across television screens and the front pages of newspapers. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/films/jonestown/

Then there were the faces of those who slaughtered many at the behest of Charles Manson.
http://www.biography.com/people/charles-manson-9397912

I'm seeing some disturbing parallels between these men and those who believed in them without reservation and the people I hear professing why they support Donald Trump.
http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/08/donald-trump-voters/401408/

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/27/politics/donald-trump-voters-2016-election/

My unease with the Trump phenomenon is not based on any political bias but more on his ever expanding violent rhetoric and the whipping up of  his followers into a frenzy at his rallies.

Is violent the new politically correct?

Is this the way the Silent Majority really wants to be heard?

Psychologists have a name for the temperament Mr. Trump appears to display. Narcissistic Personality Disorder ( NPD ).

Listed below are the traits of this type of personality. See what you think...

1. Has grandiose idea of who they are and what they can achieve.

2. Is preoccupied with unlimited success and power.

3. Requires excessive admiration from others.

4. Has a sense of entitlement

5. Is arrogant and haughty in behavior and/ or attitude.

6. Has an exaggerated sense of power allowing them to bend the rules.

7. Is hypersensitive  to how they are seen or perceived by others.

8. Publicly devalues others as being inferior, incapable or not worthy.

9. Is frequently boastful of accomplishments.

10. Needs to be the center of attention and does things to distract others to insure that they are being noticed by being late, over dramatic speech, and making theatrical entrances.

11. Insists on always having the best of everything.

12. Communication is usually one way in the form of dictates.

13. Behaves as though people are objects to be used, manipulated or exploited.

14. When criticized tends to lash out in anger and/or rage.

16. Acts imperious.

17. Claims to have the answers or solution to all problems no matter how preposterous or impossible they seem. (we are going to build a wall and Mexico is going to pay for it)
18. Superficially charming.

19. Habitually puts down others as inferior.

20. Treats others with contempt and arrogance.

21. The word " I" dominates their conversations.

22. Hates to be embarrassed or fail publicly and lashes out in anger.

23. Doesn't feel guilty for anything they have done nor do they apologize for their actions.

24. Highly dependent on tribute and adoration.

( from an article by Joe Navarro; https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/spycatcher/201208/dangerous-cult-leaders )

These traits are found in most cult leaders; i.e., Jim Jones, Charles Manson etc.

No matter what your political and cultural views are, can this really be the answer?

It's something to think about...

Have a great weekend!
